Today Marks Twenty Years of Creativity, Connection, and Possibility.

Today, June 1, 2026, marks a milestone that feels both impossible and deeply meaningful: the 20th anniversary of Vivid Expressions LLC.

Twenty years.

When I first started Vivid Expressions, I wasn't following a carefully crafted business plan or chasing a grand entrepreneurial vision. In many ways, I was responding to a calling that had been quietly waiting for years.

I had artistic gifts, talents, and ideas that I had been sitting on for far too long.

At the same time, I had recently experienced my own wedding journey (nearly ruined by a hurricane) and found myself wishing there had been more support, creativity, and intentional design available to couples navigating one of life's most important celebrations. I saw opportunities for brides to feel more empowered, inspired, and confident throughout the planning process.

I also noticed something else.

As an artist and designer, I saw that many events were being planned without the very principles that guide great design. Color harmony, balance, scale, proportion, rhythm, the design process, storytelling, creative problem-solving, and intentional decision-making were often missing from the conversation.

I believed there was a better way.

A way to bring artistic principles into the wedding and event experience.

A way to help people transform ideas into meaningful experiences.

A way to blend creativity with purpose.

So, with equal parts excitement, uncertainty, and determination, Vivid Expressions was born.

What followed has been a journey far greater than I could have imagined.

Over the past two decades, I have had the privilege of designing weddings, creating floral installations, painting live at events, teaching workshops, coaching creative entrepreneurs, speaking to groups, mentoring students, leading creative experiences, and collaborating with extraordinary people across countless projects.

But the truth is that Vivid Expressions has never been about flowers, artwork, workshops, or events.

It has always been about people.

It has been about the bride who trusted me with one of the most important days of her life.

The client who shared what they loved and their ideas and allowed me to not only craft a vision but help them bring it into reality.

The student who discovered confidence through creativity.

The entrepreneur who found clarity through coaching.

The venue partner who opened a door.

The vendor who became a collaborator.

The colleague who became a friend.

The family members and friends who encouraged me when the path ahead felt uncertain.

Every chapter of this journey has been shaped by relationships, trust, and shared experiences.

To every client, friend, family member, colleague, venue partner, vendor, student, and supporter who has been part of this story… thank you.

Thank you for believing in my work.

Thank you for trusting my ideas.

Thank you for allowing me to learn, grow, experiment, create, and evolve.

Thank you for the opportunities, referrals, conversations, collaborations, encouragement, and friendships.

You have helped shape Vivid Expressions into what it is today.

As I reflect on twenty years, I find myself feeling something unexpected.

Not nostalgia.

Excitement.

Because while I am incredibly proud of where we've been, I am equally energized by where we're headed.

Over the past few years, many of you have noticed subtle shifts in my work. What began as a wedding planning, floral, and event design business has expanded into something much broader: creative development, artistic direction, experiential learning, coaching, consulting, and helping people unlock their own creative potential.

That evolution has not happened by accident.

It has been years in the making.

As I enter this next chapter, I am actively restructuring and refining Vivid Expressions around the work that feels most aligned with my purpose, strengths, and vision for the future.

I can't share everything just yet.

But I can tell you this:

The future will continue to be rooted in creativity.

It will continue to celebrate artistic expression.

It will continue to help people think differently, design intentionally, grow confidently, and bring meaningful ideas to life.

And in many ways, I believe the next chapter may be the most exciting one yet.

Twenty years ago, Vivid Expressions began because I wanted to stop sitting on my creativity and start using it to make a difference.

Today, that mission feels more relevant than ever.

Here's to twenty years of creativity, growth, connection, learning, and possibility.

And here's to the next chapter.
