DESIGNER SERVICE FEE:

INITIAL CONSULTATION FEE:

$50 TO 150 (Virtual during business hours of 10 am - 1 pm to in-person studio or site visit)

DESIGN CONSULTING MINIMUM: $3,000 (GOAL - $12,000)

FLORAL DESIGN & DECOR RENTAL MINIMUM: $5,000 (GOAL - $8,000)

$2,000 plus vendor coordination fee

1. Hard costs for flowers and materials:

Fresh flowers, foliage/greenery, floral food, floral wire, floral tape, armatures, and other supplies/material as needed.  Cost varies upon desired blossoms, season, scale, and volume used in desired/approved designs

2.  Individual rental item fees:

Floral containers, special rental items, etc.

(Example; Arch/Floral Structures, Vases, Candle holders/Candelabras, Table Linens, Chair Covers with installation, Ceiling draping with installation, Specialty furniture with specialty delivery fee, Lighting)

3. Pre-Design Preparatio/Pre-production:

Design Prep may include but not limited to: Sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, admin and ordering, shipping/handling on-studio, preparing arranging floral processing including cutting , feeding, hydrating, storage on-site/coolers, pulling product, etc.

(Note: This pre-design & production. Not design developments but preparing for custom designing in up-coming days, weeks, and even months)

(Note: Fee may include basic set-up fee for events with 6 small-scale centerpieces or less)

5. Production Team - Flat fee and/or Hourly rates:

Calculated for how much staff, work and/or hours are executed "before, during, and after the event". 

(Example: Design Production including "Day of" production.  Flat and/ore hourly rates cover time, labor and talent of design production team, set-up, strike/returning to breakdown, cleaning, restocking, and rental returns)

(Example: Design Plan development, Specialty rentals items sourcing, Design fabrication, "One-on-one" Design Consulting Flat and/ore hourly rates cover time, labor and talent of designer)

FLORAL DESIGNER:

1.5 Hour: Floral Design sessions

EVENT DESIGNER:

Incorporating (accents like linens, candle holders, signage, backdrops, and other products provided by Vivid Expressions)

 

1.5 - 2.5 Hours: Design sessions 

8 - 10 Hours:  Design Development/Presentation

6 -10 Hours: Floral & rental procurement - in addition to design needs development, fresh floral goods orders, coordinating shipments, and delivery there will be other specialty design element procurement/acquisition

4 - 8 Hours: Pre-production/product prep - in addition to pulling product including vases, preparing buckets, flower food this will include the design planning, verifying and cataloging other items needed for designs including props, linens, accents, etc.

8 - 10 Hours: Processing - In addition to processing cutting, cleaning, and storage, staging for fabrication of floral designs this would also include custom written design plan, room layout, logistics including scheduling, confirmation, pick-up, etc.  

10 - 18 Hours: Fabrication -  In addition to any floral designs being created by Vivid Expressions this would also any custom design products that may be done via Vivid Expressions such as custom decor elements

4 - 8 Hours: Day of Designer - Designer overseeing VE design team setup and detailing elements at event site(s) prior to events 

6 - 8 Post-production - to includes returning to sites to breakdown, clean, removal, product cleaning, re-stocking and return items

Total average hours: 49.5 - 76.5   (60)

FULL-SERVICE EVENT PRODUCTION:

Event Design development, coordination and production

 

1.5 - 2.5 Hours: Design sessions 

6 - 8 Hours Consulting Hours 

18 - 20 Hours:  Design Development/Presentation - in addition to all the development of Event Design includes site visit, room renderings, floor plan development, design budget management, design concept & detail development etc.

12 - 20 Event design, floral design & rental procurement - in addition to design needs development, fresh floral goods orders, coordinating shipments, delivery, and other specialty design element  this will also include the sourcing/sub-contracting, referral, coordination, confirmations, and collaboration of design related vendors (ex: furniture, specialty equipment, tents, tables, etc.) 

8 - 10 Pre-production/product prep - Design product verification as well as pulling and preparing any in-house design products/inventory (ex: vases, flower buckets, flower food, props, linens, accents, etc.)

12 - 18 Processing - In addition to processing cutting, cleaning, and storage, staging for fabrication of floral designs this would also include custom written design plan for in-house event production team, room layout, logistics scheduling, confirmation, and custom vendor guide information packets.

10 - 18 Hours: Fabrication -  In addition to any floral designs being created by Vivid Expressions this would also any custom design products that may be done via Vivid Expressions such as custom decor elements.

10 - 16 Hours: Day of Designer - In addition to the Designer overseeing VE design team's setup and detailing elements at event site(s) prior to events.  The Designer will also work with all design related vendors on the day of to execute the designs.

8 - 10 Post-production - to includes returning to sites to breakdown, clean, removal, product cleaning, re-stocking and manage return items 

 

Total average hours: 100 

100 x $25 = $2500

SCRIPTING:

​

"We charge you for 6 costs; (1) the hard costs of the flowers, (2) rental items fee for our containers, (3) Designer & Pre-design production (4)  Day of production team (5) Delivery fee -

 

such as sourcing your specific floral materials, shipping them into the studio, and the process of cutting, feeding and hydrating them on-site in preparing for arranging, etc.

 

There is a delivery flat fee for vehicle and drive but we also calculate designer & production team fee based on how many hours and work is done before, during and after the event which covers the time, labor and talents of our design production team including design development, fabrication, set-up, strike (returning to breakdown), cleaning, restocking, rental returns, etc.

 

You can also choose a custom "Designer Service Plan" that includes all team fee as well as designer day of design coordinating services.  So it depends on what you want for your wedding day, but on averages our typical clients spend around $4,500 on products and invests $2,000 in Designer services & "Day of" Design Production.”

(60 to 80 hrs of consulting at $100, Up to 3 team members at $600)

(Up to 32 hrs of consulting at $100, $750 design fee, Up to 3 team members at $600)

$2,200 to $2,400 = Partial design consulting with "Day of" design production team

(6 to 8 hours of consulting at $100 per hour addition hour - available at same rate, $750 design fee, Up to 3 team members at $600)

 

$1600 - $1800 = Partial design consulting only (no "Day of" production team included)

Hourly Design Consulting option for floral design product clients only

A la Carte hourly consulting service.  Minimum 2 hours of design consulting which may be scheduled in 30 minute increments.  Hourly design consulting is available at a regular consulting hourly rate of $125 for the first 2 hours and additional consulting available $100 billed in hourly increments.   Hourly design consulting may be done virtually or by scheduled in-studio appointments. Minimum = $250

Masterpiece Designer Price:

Exclusive Retainer fee + Up to 15% of ENTIRE Event Budget + Day Design Production Team Fee + Day of Coordination Specialist Fee

  • Masterpiece Designer Retainer Fee = $2,000 (Reg. $3,200)

  • 10% - 15% Entire Event Budget (Based on all event budget, vendor and service contracts)

  • Day of Production Team Fee = $1,800 to $2,000 (Core Event Assistant Team  $200 each additional Assist.)

  • Day of Coordination Specialist = $3,000
