This week marked the grand finale of our 5-week creative journey — and what an incredible transformation it’s been!

In our final session, “Creation: Design Production,” students discovered how to take their artistic visions off the page and bring them beautifully to life. Together, we walked through the real-world steps of pre-production, production, and post-production — the often-overlooked stage where creative concepts evolve into unforgettable event experiences.

We explored how to:
Build and use a Design Guide to manage every event detail — from timelines to team communication.
Translate style boards and sketches into cohesive on-site setups.
Communicate with venues, vendors, and support teams so your design vision stays clear from start to finish.
Stay mindful and creative, even in the midst of the busy, buzzing energy of installation day.

What truly amazed me was seeing how much confidence and clarity these designers have gained since Week 1. Many began this journey unsure of where to start — and are now walking away with the structure, insight, and courage to design like pros.
But here’s the thing — this is only the beginning. Once you understand how to create, the next step is to grow: building your portfolio, refining your process, and developing your creative business. That’s why I can’t wait to invite our community to the next hands-on learning experiences — including our upcoming Art of Atmosphere Workshop - Ceremony & Room Design Hands-on experience and the Creative Business Accelerator launching in Spring 2026.
