Every so often, a creative walks into one of our workshops with a sparkle in their eyes. That unmistakable mix of passion, purpose, and possibility. And then, with the right guidance, community, and hands-on experience, that sparkle became a radiant glow.
As we prepare for our March 24, 2026 Art of Atmosphere: Hands-On Ceremony & Room Design Workshop returning to the stunning Town Point Club in Norfolk, I’m thrilled to spotlight someone who embodies what these workshops and Creative Academy programs are all about: creativity, confidence, and fearless growth.
In this special Rising Star Edition of Behind the Atmosphere, we’re celebrating Gina Wolf, owner and lead designer of Timeless Events by Gina Wolf — a planner whose transformation this year has been nothing short of inspiring.
From Vision to Vocation: Meet Gina
Though she officially launched her business in 2024, Gina has been planning events for over a decade. With a degree in fashion and early experience transforming designer sketches into runway-ready garments, it’s no surprise that she gravitated toward event and wedding planning.
“I’ve always loved bringing a vision to life,” she says. “It’s about taking a dream and turning it into a reality.”
And perhaps most heartfelt of all, Gina is driven by a desire to help couples avoid the regrets she felt about details she wished had been different at her own wedding. That empathy, paired with artistry, is part of what makes her a standout planner in Hampton Roads.
The Heart Behind Her Work
Gina beams when she talks about her clients:
“I love everything about taking a dream and turning it into a reality. I love meeting couples and becoming a part of their story as to why they had the best wedding day.”
Her ideal clients? The ones who can enjoy life’s simple moments like coffee by the waves but appreciate luxury, elegance, and intentional investment where it matters most. She helps them tell their story, dream out loud, and navigate reality with clarity and ease.
She offers something special, too a sketch for every event design. As a visual thinker, she ensures that what clients imagine becomes something tangible, breathtaking, and beautifully executed.
A Journey of Creative Growth
Gina first joined us earlier this year at the Town Point Club for the Event Design & Hands-On Tablescape Workshop, where she immediately felt inspired and empowered.
That experience ignited something and she dove wholeheartedly into the 12-week Creative Business Accelerator, followed by the Palette & Planning design process course.
And of course, she is already enrolled for the March 2026 Art of Atmosphere Workshop… months in advance!
When asked what the experience has been like, she shared:
“It’s like having your friend walking beside you. After our sessions, calls, or courses, I end with the energy to knock out 100 tasks!”
Confidence, Worth, and Transformation
Gina’s growth hasn’t just been in skills, it’s been in identity, mindset, and confidence.
She explained one of her biggest breakthroughs:
“I was taught one thing I will never forget: When people spend money on a Taylor Swift concert, they know it’s going to be worth it. I know my work will do the same. I trust in what I bring to my clients so they forget everything else when I am there.”
Her confidence has elevated. Her value is clear. And her work is flourishing.
When asked why she keeps coming back, her answer made my heart full:
“It feels like talking to my best friend about how I can be better… it’s real, it’s great information, and something I trust your guidance on.”
