Every week in Palette & Planning, I’m reminded why I love what I do — seeing creative minds connect the dots between art, design, and storytelling.
But here’s my favorite moment of the week:
One of my students messaged me after class to share that they used what they learned in last week’s “Vision Building” session during a meeting with a corporate client — and it worked! Moments like that remind me just how powerful creative confidence can be when you have the right tools and process.
This week’s session was all about creating Presentations & Proposals — where ideas take form, and your creative vision meets your client’s imagination.

We explored:
How to define design costs and manage client expectations with clarity
The 3 types of event design presentations (and when to use them)
Floral & décor sourcing strategies, suppliers, and support tools
How to create and deliver design proposals that wow and win
And to top it off, we wrapped with a simple style board demonstration — turning inspiration into a tangible, client-ready design pitch.

It fills me with so much joy to watch my students grow, experiment, and elevate their craft — and it makes me even more excited for what’s ahead.
If you’ve been following along and thinking, “I wish I’d joined…” — don’t worry. Another opportunity is coming soon. And trust me, you won’t want to miss your chance to turn your ideas into polished, professional-level event designs.
Stay tuned for future course announcements and upcoming creative workshops from Vivid Expressions LLC — because your next design masterpiece is waiting to be created.
